DescriptionTocotrienols are of the vitamin E family (tocopherols), and complement the properties of tocopherols. Together they are thought of as the most important antioxidants in fats, oil, and cell membranes. Tocotrienols are important regulators of blood lipids, being involved in the regulation of total cholesterol as well as LDL cholesterol. The molecular structure of tocotrienols is such that it inhibits the liver enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, the enzyme that is critical to the rate at which cholesterol is synthesized. It has been shown that tocotrienols from rice bran oil are more potent than those from palm kernel oil and that rice bran oil tocotrienols inhibit HMG-CoA reductase activity significantly.*

Each capsule contains:

  • Vitamin E (as D-alpha-Tocopherol) 100 IU
  • Rice Bran Oil 250 mg
  • Tocotrienols 50 mg

    Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, 1 to 4 softgels per day, taken in divided doses between meals, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
