DescriptionAlso known as nicotinic acid, niacin is an essential nutrient, positioned at the core of NAD/NADH and NADP/NADPH which are major redox-active 'electron storage' compounds. One or both of these 'redox pairs' is involved in every major biochemical pathway. Each capsule contains:

Niacin (nicotinic acid, vitamin B3)........250mg

Available in bottles pf 90 capsules.

Suggested Use:

As a dietary supplement, one (1) capsule two or three times daily with meals, or as directed by a health practitioner.

WARNING: Niacin can cause skin flushing and tingling (the 'niacin flush'). The use of niacin releases histamine from MAST cells, so for some individuals niacin may be conntraindicated during the hay fever season. Niacin also can stimulate the release of stomach acid, which when uncontrolled may contribute the release of stomach acid, which when uncontrolled may contribute to the initiation or exacerbation of ulcers. Thus THIS PRODUCT SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH. Large intakes of niacin also have been known to cause liver damage. DONOT TAKE LARGE AMOUNTS OF NIACIN ( Greater than 1.5 grams per day) UNLESS UNDER THE CARE OF A PHYSICIAN.
