InVite is a multi vitamin formula in individual packets that includes vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients such as mixed carotenoids, lycopene, lutein and bioflavanoids. Beta-carotene as CaroCare®
Unlike other beta-carotene products which are produced by chemical synthesis using acetone, InVite® formulas utilize CaroCare®, an all natural beta-carotene derived by fermentation of Blakeslea trispora. CaroCare® also includes other carotenoids to give it a natural profile similar to a carrot.
Lycopene as Lyc-O-Mato™
Our main dietary source of lycopene is the red ripe tomato. Lyc-O-Mato™ is a pure tomato product, rich in lycopene and other natural phytochemicals. Lyc-O-Mato™ is provided in the vegeatarian capsule in the presence of soybean oil to enhance its absorption. Research has shown that the presence of oil dramatically increases the absorption of lycopene. Many controlled studies using lycopene have used the brand name of Lyc-O-Mato™ as their source of lycopene.
Lutein as FloraGLO®
FloraGLO® brand lutein is purified from marigold extract using patented processes. Unlike lutein esters or unpurified marigold extract, FloraGLO® lutein is chemically identical to lutein found in spinach, kale, collard greens and other green leafy vegetables in our diet. In fact 93% of the lutein absorbed by the human body is present as lutein, not lutein esters.
Bioflavanoid Complex
InVite® includes standardized Citrus Bioflavanoid Complex. Whole citrus fruit is cleaned, washed, de-juiced and de-oiled. The resulting by product, composed primarily of pulp and peel, is ground, re-washed and pressed to remove certain soluble compounds and excess water. A proprietary process removes additional non-fiber components and transforms the residue into a fiber concentrate, which is hydrated, milled, sized and checked for conformity to specifications.
Vitamin E
While many supplements use synthetic Vitamin E, InVite® utilizes mixed natural tocopherols. The mixed tocopherols include both alpha and gamma tocopherol. Current research in prostatic cancer disease underscores the importance of gamma tocopherol.
Maximum Absorption - Merely combining high levels of nutrients is not enough to insure proper assimilation. The oil soluble nutrients are placed in a VCaps® vegetarian capsule along with soybean oil, which maximizes absorption of Lycopene and Coenzyme Q10. We use Ester C, which employs natural Vitamin C metabolites to enhance absorption and retention. Unlike common forms of Selenium, ours is yeast bound, which does not interfere with Vitamin C absorption. All minerals are in the form of Biokey® amino acid chelates.
Testing Policy - An independent laboratory tests each product run of InVite®. We test raw materials after production. This stringent testing protocol assures that all label claims are met. Testing includes assays for active and marker compounds, as well as, microbiological and heavy metal contaminants. The antioxidant potency of InVite® multivitamin was tested at the Cornell University Food Sciences Program. InVite Health is an affiliate of the Cornell University Center for Advanced Technology in Biotechnology.
