Breathe Deep® tea is an Ayurvedic blend of herbs and spices formulated to enhance healthy breathing.* Not only does Breathe Deep® promote balanced and easy breaths, but it also aids in countering many of the negative effects that stress, pollution and poor breathing habits have on the respiratory system.* this healing formula utilizes East Asian Ephedra (Ephedra sinica), an herb which, for some five thousand years, has been used to promote bronchial function.* We have also included organic Australian Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) and Elecampane (Imula helenium), pungent herbs that clear the mucous membranes and are beneficial to total respiratory health.* Basil is a warming adaptogenic herb traditionally used to support the respiratory system and help the body adjust to stress; and Ginger Root soothes the stomach and aids with digestion.* The formula is enhanced with Mullein, a cooling herb soothing to the mucous membranes.* It is recommended that this tea be sweetened with a teaspoon or two of honey, which ahs been traditionally known to support the body's expectoration process.

Directions:

For best tea infusion, per 8 oz boiling water over one Breathe Deep™ tea bag and steep for 5 to 10 minutes. For a stronger effect, use 2 tea bags. Gently squeeze each tea bag to fully release the active ingredients. Drink a cup every hour to help pen breathing. Drink 2-3 cups per day during cold weather or to clear the breathing passages. Do not exceed 10 cups in a 24-hour period.

Easy Yoga to Open the Lungs
Stand up straight with your legs slightly apart. Inhale fully while raising your arms up straight over your head and lean back slightly. Exhale fully as you bend forward from the waist, bringing your arms towards the ground and your upper torso towards your legs. This posture is called uttanasana. Continue this smooth movement for 1-3 minutes. Then stand up straight with the arms relaxed by your sides, take a few deep breaths and relax.
