Winter Relief Tea (Formerly Cold Season Tea) is a soothing organic herbal tea that is specially formulated for use during the cold-weather season. This warming formula includes Ginger, Cardamom, Clove, and Indonesian Cinnamon, all of which are regarded by practitioners of Ayurvedic medicine as heating herbs, commonly used to support nasal and bronchial function.*

The blend is complemented with Peppermint (Mentha x piperita), one of the world's most widely used herbs, and one that is known for its menthol vapors. We have also included Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) and Basil (Ocimum basilicum) to help promote free breathing, as well as Lemon Grass, one of the best herbs for promoting healthy sinus function.*

Our blend is augmented with Licorice, a widely used herb in traditional Chinese medicine, well-known for coating and soothing membranes and supporting adrenal function.* The erman Commission E (1998) reports that Peppermint, Licorice and Eucalyptus are approved for use to soothe the membranes of the respiratory tract.*

Suggested Use: For best results, drink 3 to 4 times throughout the day. Pour one cup of boiling water over tea bag, steep 4 to 6 minutes. For stronger flavor, steep longer.
